Kenita-Lee McCartney is a First Nations artist, a proud Wemba Wemba, Wiradjuri, Wotjiboluk, Nari Nari and Boon Wurrung woman, currently residing on Wemba Wemba (New South Wales).

For Kenita, creating is a way to express a moment in time and connect with her ancestors, her people, and her country. She utilises this method as an outlet, a way to heal, share her experiences, and connect to those stories that have been woven throughout her family for many centuries.

This is my first purchase from Azure Beach. The men's polo shirt I bought was for a charity organising a Christmas gift program for older recipients. Unfortunately, due to the item packaging style used by manufacturer/supplier (top is sort of folded up tight and encased in a paper band), I had no way of clearly viewing the top to decide whether I was satisfied with the material, pattern or sizing unless I removed the packaging. Refolding to original state would have been too difficult and spoiled the new purchase look, so I chose to just send on and hope for the best. This and return postage costs might make me cautious about gift purchases in future.
